There is a particular kind of attention that comes from living somewhere you were not born into. You notice the quality of afternoon light, and where it falls. You notice what locals walk past without seeing.

Fanning has spent her career doing exactly that — first shaped by the visual precision of Taiwanese design culture, then recalibrated by more than two decades of European light, space, and stillness. That distance between two ways of seeing is not a gap she bridges. It is where her photographs come from.

She is a photographer specialising in interiors, travel, and the quiet atmosphere of spaces. Her background in Interior Design trained her to read spaces and light as stories. Living between Europe and Asia has given her a richer visual language — and a point of view that is genuinely difficult to replicate.

She works with lifestyle, hospitality, and travel brands who want imagery that feels considered rather than constructed. Images that hold still long enough for people to want to step inside.
